Tethys is one of the first born Protogenoi, wild and raw. Her body is the marbled tones of the Waters of the World, her lower body the tentacles of a water creature. Her dark skin is a nod to all of our ancestresses, and she wears a necklace of seashells. The cowrie shell on her forehead is a symbol of the fertility of all of our ancient mothers.
