I am Oya, Orisha of Storms, Lady of Thunder, Mistress of Change, Savage Mother of All. My lessons to you may be full of drama, but you are certain to get the messages, free from subtlety! Be sure, though, that throughout the tempests and turmoils, I am here to shelter and protect you as well.

Oya wears a dynamic dress of shimmery burgundy, the drama of which is hard to capture on camera. It is embroidered with a golden lightning bolt. On her head she wears a golden gele, traditional Yoruban head covering, and is adorned with hoop earrings.
