Wheel of the Year Pillow or Altar Cloth

Most of the specialized Goddesses are appropriate for older children and playful grownups, but because of their necklaces and the adornments in their long hair, are not recommended for babies and younger children. For this age group I've made some huggable Goddesses which would be great for any age. These would make perfect gifts for Blessingways and Baby Naming ceremonies. When cuddled, the wool with which they are stuffed really retains the warmth of the child, making the Goddess even more nurturing as a companion.

Birthday Kore

In a fun flannel of multi-colored spirals, this doll was designed just for Birthdays. One of my customers said she had started a new tradition of creating a birthday altar space for her kids' birthdays, and I loved the idea! Here is a little Lady to help celebrate!

(Feel free to personalize her with your choice of hair color. I made this one with white hair because it reminded me of cream cheese cake frosting, lol!)

Dreamed up, designed and mostly made by my 7 year old daughter Rhanna (she's 11 now!), these 11" Kores are playful and really cute!

Most of the dolls you see throughout the whole website can be made in the

Kore style, which is appropriate for younger children because there are no major choking hazards. To the right you can see an example of a 6-inch Rhiannon Kore. Always feel free to ask for whatever hair color you like as well!

In addition to the Goddesses in the main collection which can be altered for younger children, I offer the Elemental, Fruit, and Sabbat Kores,

and for that most special day of the year, a Birthday Kore!

Or they can be less detailed, as in this example, where the doll's purple body mirrors a color the recipient often wears, and her hair and eye color match. This doll was also stuffed with lavender as an added, sweet-smelling bonus.

I also make high-end quilted and embroidered slings and nursling pillows.

The slings are generally embroidered with subtle designs on front and back. Here you can see the details with a small image on the front, and a larger mama-design on the back shoulder.

Nursing/Breastfeeding Pillows

I also make nursling pillows for new mamas. These are wonderful for those first few months of establishing a breastfeeding relationship, since they fit around a mamas body comfortably and hold the baby up in the correct position on her lap. Once the baby is learning to sit, the pillows can be arranged around the baby to minimize bumps on the head when they inevitably fall over. :) Nursing pillows are $35.
